MC College has created the Northern Canada Scholarship to support students living in Northern Canadian Provinces & Territories hoping to move to Alberta or BC and start their journey in Hairstyling or Esthetics.
This scholarship is designed to offset some of the costs needed to move from province to province by providing a tuition credit. Students living in Northern Canada (Northwest Territories, Yukon or Nunavut) are eligible to receive a $1000 Tuition Scholarship. This Scholarship may be used for the Hairstyling or Esthetics Diploma program at the MC College Red Deer campus in Alberta or the MC College Kelowna campus in British Columbia.
Objectives
- To assist students living in Northern Canada in their endeavor to move to Alberta or BC and enter a career in the Salon or Spa industry
Eligibility Criteria
Nominees must:
- Currently live in the Northwest Territories, Yukon or Nunavut
- Apply and be accepted for a Full time Diploma program at the MC College Red Deer or Kelowna campus
Terms
- Cannot be combined with other MC College Scholarships
- The $1000 Tuition Scholarship can only be used towards the Full Time Hairstyling or Full Time Esthetics program
- No cash value, tuition credit only
