Rural Alberta Scholarship

MC College has created the Rural Alberta Scholarship to support students enrolling in Hairstyling and Esthetics programs.  Rural students face additional costs when entering post-secondary education.  The scholarship is designed to offset some of these additional costs by providing a tuition credit.  Students living in any Town, Village or Hamlet in Alberta are eligible to receive a $1000 Tuition Scholarship. This Scholarship may be used for programs at our Red Deer, Alberta campus only!

OBJECTIVES:

• To assist rural Albertans in their endeavor to enter a career in the Salon or Spa industry.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Nominees must:

• Currently live in a Town, Village or Hamlet in Alberta
• Apply and be accepted for a Full time Diploma program at the MC College Red Deer campus

TERMS:

• Cannot be combined with other MC College Scholarships
• The $1000 Tuition Scholarship can only be used towards the Full Time Hairstyling or Full Time Esthetics program.
• No cash value, tuition credit only
