MC College would like to respectfully acknowledge the unceded territories our six campuses reside on. Our Kelowna campus is located on the traditional territory of the Syilx (Okanagan) People. The Edmonton and Saskatoon campuses are located on Treaty 6 Territory, the traditional land for many Indigenous People including Cree, Saulteaux Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, and Nakota Sioux Peoples. The Calgary and Red Deer campuses are located on Treaty 7 Territory, the traditional land of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda. The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. The Winnipeg campus is located on Treaty 1 Territory, the traditional land for many Indigenous People including Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.

We honour and respect the histories, languages, ceremonies and cultures of the Indigenous People who call these territories home.
