Sheila Sparks, Hair Design Instructor
Sheila has been a Hair Design Instructor and part of the MC College team since September of 2003. She brings over 23 years of experience in the Beauty Industry to the Saskatoon campus. She is a former owner of Mane Frame Hair and Body Spa and has supplemented her education with numerous training sessions and seminars – these include advanced cut/color classes, Pivot Point Mindful Teaching classes and Salon Psychology seminars. She is a Master Colorist and has her CPR/First Aid and WHMIS training, she is currently completing her NACC Instructor Development Program.

Sheila Wilson, Hair Design Instructor
Sheila is a former MC College graduate who brings with her over 21 years of experience in the Beauty Industry. She has been with MC College for 7 years. Sheila is also trained in Esthetics and has received her Nail Technician, Waxing, Eyelash/Eyebrow Tinting, Pedicure, Facials, and Manicure certificates. She has also completed the Make-Up course at Sebastian Trucco. To add to her knowledge, Sheila has attended multiple product knowledge and color classes.

Marg Ellis, Hair Design Instructor
Marg has been part of the MC College team for over 4 years and brings with herover 27 years experience in the Beauty Industry. Marg's education began in 1984 when she apprenticed in Manitoba. After moving to Saskatoon in 1987, Marg began to supplement her knowledge with many different classes and seminars – these include numerous color classes, leadership seminars, product knowledge courses and First Aid. She has also taken the "Ultimate Customer Service" course at the Native Leadership Academy, a Salon Psychology seminar and is currently completing her NACC Instructor Development Program.

Candice Martin, Hair Design Instructor
Candice is a former MC College graduate and has been a Hair Design Instructor at the Saskatoon campus for over a year. She brings with her 5 years of experience in the industry. Along with her Hair Design diploma, Candice has attained her Nail Technician Certificate, Waxing Certificate and Eyebrow/Eyelash Tinting Certificate – all done at MC College. She has also attended many design classes and ABA shows, has extensive knowledge on many hair product lines and is certified in First Aid and CPR.

Heidi Barton, Esthetics Instructor
Since graduating from MC College with her Esthetics Diploma in 2006, Heidi has gained extensive Esthetics knowledge on a world-wide scale. After her graduation, Heidi attended the Steiner Academy in England. She then began working onboard Carnival Cruise Lines as a Spa/Beauty Therapist. During that time, she was awarded employee of the month several times and was given the title of Highest Retailer among all 24 of Carnival's 5-star spas. After leaving Carnival, Heidi accepted the position as Assistant Manager of Grand Hyatt's newest and largest Jaula spa in Qatar. She received extensive knowledge and training of the Guinot skincare line. She is also trained in the Bernard Cassiere skincare line and microdermabrasion. She has been an Esthetics Instructor with MC College since November of 2010.

Madeline Olson, Esthetics Instructor
Madeline is a former MC College Esthetics graduate and has 10 years experience in the Spa Industry. Her background includes positions as Product Educator for Spa Tech National, Salon Manager of Beaute Nu Vaux Institute of Advanced Skin Therapy and Esthetician at Avello Salon and Spa in the 5-star Weston Hotel and Resort in Whistler, BC. Madeline has specialized training in the field of microdermabrasion and the use of advanced spa machines and equipment. She also has extensive knowledge regarding the use of essential oils and holistic health care.

Vanessa Slater, Director
Vanessa has been with the MC College Team since 2000. She began her career with MC College as an Administrative Assistant and excelled to the position of Assistant Director in 2008. Vanessa has taken numerous classes as part of the MC College team, including "5 Keys to Success" and "Advanced Skills for Administrative Assistants" with the Banff Academy for Business. She is also trained in Emergency First Aid and CPR. Vanessa is well versed in the Student Record Management software and has many years experience managing student information.

Brandy Laronde
Brandy joins the MC Saskatoon team as their new Administrator. She brings to her position 8 years in Administration experience and knowledge. Before joining the team, she had worked in Tourism, Radio and also at another Post-Secondary college. She not only has passion for this industry, she brings passion and excitement to her position every day when working with MC students and thriving to make sure they reach their goals in attaining their Hairstyling & Esthetics diplomas.

Donatina Pellettieri, Admissions Advisor
Donatina has been in the beauty industry for the past seven years.  She is an experienced Nail Technician and has many years of customer service in the spa industry.  She is passionate about our industry and brings that passion to her new position of Admissions Advisor.  She is dedicated to helping potential students on the path to exciting new careers.

Helen Ross, Salon/Spa Coordinator
Helen has been part of the MC College team for over 13 years and brings with her 35 years of experience in the Beauty Industry. She has held the position of Salon/Spa Coordinator and Hair Design Instructor. Helen's training began as a Pivot Point graduate in 1976 and has not slowed down – she has attended numerous cutting, color and color correction classes, along with various Esthetics courses. She has her Nail Technician and Facial certificates and is currently in the process of certification for microdermabrasion.
