Myle Tran, Hair Design Instructor
Myle has been with the MC College team since 1997 and has over 20 years of experience in the Beauty Industry. Myle has14 years experience as a Hairstyling Instructor. She has achieved Level 4 of the Instructor Training Program, has completed the U of A Extension "Train the Trainer" Program and finished 5 levels of the Mindful Teaching program from Pivot Point International. She has participated in numerous advanced cutting, coloring and color correcting classes with Swartzkopf and Artego Canada. Myle is certified in Hair Extensions, Dreadlocks and Make-Up Artistry.

Lyle Halvorson, Hair Design Instructor
Lyle has been a part of the MC College team for 8 years and brings over 25 years of salon experience to his position as a Hair Design Instructor. Lyle taught the Government of Alberta Apprenticeship Program for 5 years at MC College. During those years, Alberta's top Hairstyling Apprentice came from Lyle's class three times. Lyle has been to numerous product knowledge seminars, including Aveda, TIGI, Artego, L'Oreal and Swartzkopf. He has completed technical training with Kenny Gibson, Oscar Bond and Gina Khan. Lyle has also participated in Mindful Teaching Seminars from Pivot Point International and Ambassador Training with Sebastian International. He is currently completing the NACC Instructor Development Program.

Jennifer Chambers, Hair Design Instructor
Jenn has been part of the Beauty Industry since 1999 and brings with her over 12
years of experience to her role at the Edmonton campus. She is an MC College Apprenticeship graduate and has been a Hair Design Instructor since 2008. Jenn also acts as the Special Events Coordinator within the Edmonton campus. In this role, Jenn organizes the many community events the students and staff participate in throughout the year. Jenn has attended numerous classes and seminars to supplement her education including; the 2005 RedKen symposium in Las Vegas, ABA seminars from 1998 onward and product knowledge courses for Joico, Paul Mitchell, L'Oreal Professional and ISO. She received her Make-Up Certificate from MC College and has taken MAC Make-Up courses as well.

Jolan Magnan, Hair Design Instructor
Jolan has over 16 years of experience in the Beauty Industry and has been a part of the MC College team for over a year. She has been a part of the World Wide Hair Tour in Europe, has taken numerous color and cutting classes at IBS, and has owned/managed her own salon. Jolan has taken Business Administration through Athabasca University, completed Conflict Resolution and Public Relations classes, and is currently finishing Level 1 of the NACC Instructor Development Program.

Nadine Andrusiak, Hair Design Insutructor
Nadine has been a part of the MC College team since February 2011 and brings over 11 years of experience in the Beauty Industry to her role as a Hair Design Instructor. She graduated from MC College in 2001 and received her Journeyman Certificate and Red Seal through the Apprenticeship Program. Nadine has also taken Wella Color Training, Advanced Training in Creative Cutting and Styling, Joico Color Training and the Brisa Gel Nails course.

Nicole Ziegler, Hair Design Instructor
Nicole has over 6 years of experience in the Beauty Industry and has been a part of the MC College team since February 2011. Nicole has a Make Up Artistry Certificate and a Professional Management Certificate from the University of Calgary. Previous to her position with MC College, Nicole worked as a Hairstylist, Make-Up Artist, Salon Manager and Sales Distributor Consultant. She has participated in numerous photo shoots and her work can be seen in Edmonton and area magazines. Nicole has also participated in Edmonton Fashion Week and has provided make-up services for countless weddings and special events.

Lorna Piraux, Hair Design Instructor
Lorna has been a part of the MC College team since 2007 and brings over 35 years of experience in the Beauty Industry to her role as Hair Design Instructor. After becoming a licensed stylist in 1973 and working for six years, Lorna went on to become a salon owner. She has also managed 7 different salons across central and northern Alberta for a combined total of 18 years. Lorna was a Joico color Instructor for 2 years, is certified in Paul Mitchell Color and Hair Cuts, and has attended product knowledge and color training for Wella Color. Lorna has completed Level 1 of the NACC Instructor Development Program and is currently looking to finish Level 2.

Sarah Richardson, Hair Design Instructor
Sarah has been a part of the MC College team since February 2011 and has over 13 years of experience in the Beauty Industry. Although new to her teaching position, Sarah is not new to the College. She is a graduate of the MC College Hair Design program and has also taken the Advanced Cutting Program at the Aveda Academy in Calgary.

Kayla Dame, Salon Coordinator
Kayla has been a part of the MC College team since April 2010 in her role as Salon Coordinator. In July of 2009, she graduated from the Hair Program at the Del Rio Academy in Port Alberni, British Columbia. Kayla has been a part of the Beauty Industry for just under 2 years, and has previous customer service skills in sales and retail.

Kali Jodoin, Salon Coordinator
Kali is an MC College Esthetics Program graduate and has been a part of the MC College team in her position of Salon Coordinator since January 2011. She was Valedictorian of her graduating class in November of 2010 and has been an active participant in the various Fashion Events around Edmonton.

Jessica Binkley, Salon Coordinator
Jessica has been a part of the MC College team since February of 2011. She has a diploma in Theatre Production from Grant MacEwan and has participated in 8 different productions. Jessica has previous fashion merchandising experience with Suzy Shier and a strong customer service background.
