Lisa Kempton, Hairstyling Instructor
Lisa has been in the industry for over 10 years, the past 3 involved in teaching. She has been an avid competitor taking home numerous medals and is currently a Master Judge for the Allied Beauty Association. Lisa's main interest involves long hair design especially hair extensions. Lisa has been able to contribute her experience to the MC College curriculum in the new hair extensions instruction. Lisa believes her ability to keep up to date with current salon trends is important in keeping her class lessons interesting and effective. Lisa is currently enrolled in Level I of the NACC Instructor Development Program. |

Jessica Reddon, Hairstyling Instructor
Jessica first entered the Beauty industry in 1994. Some of the salon positions Jessica has held include Assistant Manager, Manager and General Manager. Jessica has had the privilege of being invited to numerous Franchise Conventions, has seen the North American Hairstyling Awards first hand. Jessica had the honour of being invited to Minneapolis to partake in the making of a training video that to this day is still used for training staff in over 2800 Salons in Canada and the United States. Jessica has also completed Level I of the NACC Instructors Development Program and is just preparing to wrap up Level II - Advanced Instructors Program. |

Janelle McDonald, Hairstyling Instructor
Janelle has been in the Beauty industry for 14 years. Janelle has won awards in the ABA competitions in 1997, 1998 and 1999 and has spent much of her career working with Redken Educators which has contributed to her specialization in color theory. Janelle has been an instructor at MC College for the past 3 years and takes great pride in inspiring tomorrow's professionals and raising the industry standards. Janelle is currently enrolled in Level I of the NACC Instructor Development Program. |

Sarah Bridge, Hairstyling Instructor
Sarah brings with her over eleven years experience in the salon manager. She has held positions in all areas of salon operations from salon receptionist to busy stylist to salon manager. Sarah has dedicated herself to continuing to expand her skills through professional development classes and industry conferences. She has been an instructor with MC College for over a year now and is excited to be able to pass along her skills and experience to new upcoming hairstylists. Sarah is currently enrolled in Level I of the NACC Instructor Development program.

Cindy Nitz, Hairstyling Instructor
Cindy Nitz has 30 years experience in the salon industry. She has worked as a stylist, salon manager and has owned her own salon. Cindy sold her salon to pursue a career in teaching. She spent two years teaching in Alberta until she made the decision to relocate to British Columbia. Cindy spent the next five years in Creston BC where she continued her teaching career at The College of the Rockies. Cindy has invested in her career by taking advanced classes in extensions, hair tattooing, and coloring. Cindy made the decision to move back to Calgary and has been working with MC College since 2011.

Reshma Rahim, Esthetics Instructor
Reshma has been in the Salon/Spa Industry for the past 30 years. Reshma has worked with the Foothills Hospital Histopathology Clinic for the past 13 years which has contributed to her extensive knowledge in Anatomy. Reshma has been an Esthetics Instructor at MC College for the past 5 years. Reshma actively pursues courses, seminars, product knowledge classes and workshops as part of her ongoing professional development. Reshma has completed Level I of the NACC Instructor Development Program and is actively working on Level II - Advanced Instructors Program. |

Ellen Anderson, Esthetics Instructor
Ellen started her career in the beauty industry in 2002. She started her training at Nova Scotia Community College by enrolling in the Hairstyling program. Upon completion of the Hairstyling Program she moved to Halifax and continued her education by enrolling in a make up artistry program. From there she decided that it would be beneficial to have a fully rounded background in the industry and studied Esthetics. She quickly excelled by earning awards for her high practical marks and received her provincial license. Due to Ellen's training and dedication to the industry she has had the opportunity to expand her career and work in film, photo shoots, runway and hair styling competitions. Ellen has also experienced working over seas she has travelled to New Zealand as well as Australia. This is where she gained extensive training and specializes in waxing. In 2011 Ellen took on the roll as an Esthetics instructor at MC College Campus and hopes to pass on her knowledge and expertise to future Estheticians. |

Cynthia Amato King, School Director
Cynthia brings with her 23 years of experience in the Hairstyling and Esthetics industry. Cynthia was born in Italy and arrived in Canada with her parents at a young age. Cynthia attended John Casablanca School where she studied Makeup Artistry and Esthetics. She completed the Hair Styling Program at M.C. College and then opened a salon in Calgary where she practiced her trade and successfully managed her own business for 12 years. During this time, Cynthia kept current with trends in hair and esthetics by participating in ABA seminars, attending colour classes and completing in-service training. Before becoming the School Director, Cynthia was also a Hairstyling Instructor with the college. |

Danielle Lavallee, Admissions Advisor
Danielle joined the MC College team as the resident Salon Coordinator in 2008. It was here that she learned the intricacies of the hair industry first hand, while developing a strong relationship with students, staff, and customers alike. In the winter of 2010, Danielle took over the position of Admissions Advisor where she uses the relationships she has developed to help make sure the students get the best education possible.

Kayla Erskine, Spa Coordinator
Kyla was born and raised in Calgary Alberta. After graduating in 2005 she decided to pursue a career in esthetics and completed her training with MC College in 2007. She is now a Certified Esthetician and has been employed with MC College as the Spa Coordinator for the past 3 years. Kayla also enjoys teaching the evening artificial nail class.

Madora Bye, Salon Coordinator
Madora has been in the Salon/Spa industry since 2001. She has a family history in the salon industry and brings her own salon experience to the college to help students in the development of their customer service skills. Madora is our newest team member but hopes to have a long career with the company.
