Staff and students from hairstyling and esthetics departments of Marvel College in Red Deer were involved in the annual Red Deer Local and International street performer’s festival on July 28th. and 29th. The centrefest takes part in the blocked off downtown in Red Deer where booths are set up by vendors of all types along with ongoing entertainment. We set up a tent and did hair updo’s, colorful hair extensions and mini-manicures on both days. We all had a great time at the event and look forward to doing it again next year.
